Lead Prosper is happy to announce that we’ve pushed a new feature that gives our users the ability to securely pass sensitive data from a Supplier to a Buyer, without ever storing the actual values. In the past posting or storing any sensitive information such as Social Security Number, Bank Account information, Credit Card details, etc. was against Lead Prosper’s TOS. With the new sensitive fields feature we are able to open the door for lead distribution across financial verticals such as Mortgages, Business Loans, Auto Loans, Medicare, and any other vertical where the need for such highly sensitive lead information is required.
Examples of values that would be considered sensitive data are:
- Social Security Numbers
- Passport Number
- Driver’s License Number
- Banking / Financial Institution Details
- Credit Card Information

When a campaign field is marked as Sensitive the data will only be ‘visible’ in real-time as it’s posted to your Buyers. After the POST the data is essentially dropped and updated to a simple three-asterisk *** value across our entire platform - including PING / POST logs, leads, analytics, etc. This new feature will open the door for Lead Prosper users to be able to start working with leads across new verticals dealing with sensitive information.
To enable a campaign as a sensitive field is as simple as toggling a switch. Go to your Campaign > Campaign Fields, browse to the field(s) you want to mark as sensitive, and flip the newly added toggle in the Sensitive column. That’s all you have to do. All data passed through that field from then on will be considered sensitive and dropped.
